Sanjay Leela Bhansali's new film Heera Mandi!!!

Sanjay Leela Bhansali

Bhansali has begun work on his next directorial film after Saawariya, which is titled Heera Mandi. For the venture Bhansali is grooming two male actors and one female actress from Pakistan for the movie. They will come down to India from Pakistan to learn a thing or two about acting, before they face the camera.

Bhansali was supposed to have started work on his untitled film starring Hrithik Roshan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. It was believed that with the death of Begum Para, Heera Mandi had run into casting problems and so Bhansali started work on the film that would have featured the Jodhaa Akbar pair. However, he has now immersed himself in training his new cast for Heera Mandi.

The two actors came in earlier for the workshop. The actress, who is also in Mumbai, is being kept under wraps, but one thing that has to be mentioned, is that she is beautiful. Her beauty is ethereal and Bhansali is training her in all the nuances required to get a standing ovation.

With this news being hush hush and much secrecy surrounding the actor's whereabouts, there's not much information available as yet. Also, producer Madhu Mantena is a happy man these days. Reason? He has teamed up with Sanjay Leela Bhansali too for his next, Chenab Gandhi. The film stars Amitabh Bachchan, Hurman Baweja and Vidya Balan. Chenab Gandhi is set in the 1930s and is made on a budget of Rs 35 crore. The film also marks the debut of Vibhu Puri as a director.
