Kalki awestruck by Anurag

A French lass married to a small town Indian boy and they rarely make fun at each other's pronunciation but Kalki Koechlin told that she is awestruck by her husband, the Bollywood filmmaker Anurag Kashyap.The actress was brought up in Pondicherry while anurag Kashyap belongs to Uttar Pradesh.Kalki stated that she is still enthralled by Anurag. Theyare very different from each other.

She usually make fun of his English and he makes fun of hers Hindi, but still they love each other.Kalki revealed that shedated Anurag Kashyap for three years. They were together for quite some time and so later on they decided to get married as soon as possible. The diva is married early because she feel that the earlier one get married, the longer it lasts. Kalki, who rose to popularity with her award-winning performance in Dev D aver that the director was initially disinclined to cast her in the movie.

As a matter of fact, Anurag didn't want to cast her in Dev D as she was a model at that time and that too a European. But after the auditions he called her back.In 1999, Anurag Kashyap won the Best Screenplay award for the film Satya at the Star Screen Awards. The very next year, his short movie Last Train to Mahakali won the Special Jury Award at the same award function His feature film debut Black Fridaybagged the Grand Jury Prize at the 3rd Annual Indian Film Festival of Los Angelesheld in the year 2005 and he was a nominee for the Golden Leopard (Best Film) at the 57th Locarno International Film Festival happened in 2004.

Anurag-Kalki postponed their Honeymoon

Director Anurag Kashyap finally tied knot with his long-time girlfriend, actress Kalki Koechlin. The couple has a followed South Indian marriage, at Ooty, Tamil Nadu on spite of not having South Indian genre. On the wedding day, Actress Kalki, who was beautifully dressed in a white sari with red zari border a while Anurag was dressed in a simple white kurta and dhoti, got united under a mango tree, at 10:30 in the morning. The wedding was followed by South Indian vegetarian meal, specially cooked by Kalki's mother and just like south Indian tradition, the food were served on the banana leaves. Only few celebs were seen from the film fraternity at the auspicious ceremony.

Some of the highlights of the event were brother Abhinav Kashyap, director Vikramaditya Motwane (Udaan) with wife Ishita, Rahul Bhatt, Vikas Bahl, actor-composer Piyush Mishra. Anurag Kashyap born on September 10, 1972 is Indian film director and screenwriter. He became popular from his film Black Friday (2004) followed by Smoking (2007), Dev D (2009) and Gulaal (2009). He also wrote script among which one of the famous one is Filmfare Award winning Satya (1998) and the Academy Award nominated Canadian film Water (2005). He is now regarded as one of the most versatile and efficient filmmaker among other directors in the Indian Film Industry. Anurag Kashyap's upcoming movies are That Girl In Yellow Boots Soundtrack, Shaitan and Mumbai Cutting.
