Did Milind Gadagkar scared U with Phoonk 2?

Milind Gadagkar is the director of Phoonk 2. Before the release of the movie he was so confident about the scare qoutient in it that he could foresee audience praying after watching that horror stuff. He believes that he was able to create fear on screen in such a convincing manner that the audience were actually scared.

Ram Gopal Varma and Milind Gadagkar
Milind said “In PHOONK 2, I have tried to capture fear and taken it to such an extreme limit that not just would you be horribly scared, you would pray that something like this never happens to you". But seems like that Milind was joking as the audience came out laughing from the
theaters.

Much hype was created at the time of Phoonk 1 and the result was nil and again the same thing happened with Phoonk 2 but there was no fear at all. Bollywood is short of plots for the forror flicks and the horror movies are just making their own fun in theaters.

KJ at rift with RGV

Our bollywood directors aren’t far either from the controversies these days. The latest buzz is that Ram Gopal Varma and Karan Johar are at war. Their hatred was seen when Ram Gopal Varma remarked that the scariest film he had ever seen in his life was Karan Johar’s Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna. .

Ram Gopal Varma and Karan Johar
A new story started off when Karan Johar mentioned that after seeing RGV’s recent release Phoonk 2, Karan is sure that Phoonk 3 will not be made.

One thing can be said for sure; that the two directors do not chop up words and know how to be sarcastic in speech at the same time!!!!!!!

The genius director RGV

The genius director Ram Gopal Varma says that Bollywood still have a long way to go in exploring the horror genre when compared to Hollywood. Churning out horror flicks off late like Vikram Bhatt's Shaapit still Bollywood films have not been able to attract the audiences to the theatre so far.

Ram Gopal VarmaApart from Bhoot, RGV has also given hits like Darna Mana Hai and its sequel Darna Zaroori Hai but his Phoonk could not give a chill in the summer.

The director said that for some Phoonk was not scary, being the reason behind that Phoonk was not a straight in your face kind of scary film as it was about superstition and it would not effect people until they have been in that situation.

It’s sequel Phoonk 2 has the simple intention to just scare the audience's pants off. The filmmaker also comes back with his challenge of Rs 5 lakh to the one person who can watch the film without being spooked but this time it is a little more tough guys. So are you ready for the challenge???

All the way from Australia

Guess what our Bollywood director receives a mysterious gift landed from overseas. A sentimental plea posted with a prayer from halfway from Australia at Rajkumar Hirani’s home in Mumbai, India. Kanti Hirani, a resident of New South Wales, Australia, had a strong hunch that Rajkumar Hirani was connected in some way to his family.

Rajkumar HiraniSo Kanti Hirani decided to post pictures and a CD containing pictures of his extended family in the hope that Rajkumar Hirani would recognise some of them. Unfortunately, Kanti didn’t have Rajkumar’s address.

So when the parcel was addressed to ‘Rajkumar Hirani, director of 3 Idiots and Munnabhai, Santa Cruz’. This whole episode has left the director stunned.

Rajkumar Hirani was completely astonished as he was surprised too. The director kept wondering just how much effort the postal department must have taken to make sure he got the parcel, because, Rajkumar lived in Bandra East and not Santa Cruz.

While Rajkumar Hirani’s movies have generated a big fan following for him and he receives so many letters from all over the world, this letter is like cherry on the cake.
