and PC seemed like a perfect director-and-cogitate combination with the success of Kaminey that was released in 2009 and also had Shahid Kapoor in the lead role.However, 7 Khoon Maaf turned out to be a commercially and critically failed attempt; Vishal Bhardwaj didn't transform into India's Hitchcock and Priyanka Chopra could not become its Janet Leigh or Kim Novak.Piggy Chops was the only name on Vishal Bhardwaj's wishlist for his adaptation of Chetan Bhagat's bestseller “2 States”, featuring Shahrukh Khan and being produced by Sajid Nadiawala. This now has all changed.

The filmmaker and the producer are now going a different direction, opening up the character to other possible actresses.Priyanka who was once Vishal’s favourite, a sizzling contender, has just delivered a fiasco with him.It is now a toss mainly between Kareena Kapoor and Katrina Kaif. It might even be even Deepika Padukone or Asin, but it won't be Priyanka for sure. It has been speculated that Piggy Chops flew to the United States in a way to overcome another disappointmentSasha (Shahid Kapoor) is also fully out of her life now. Madhur’s success mantra

Bollywood director Madhur Bhandarkar has given credit to his commercial success to a tight budget for all his films he has made so far. The budget is the most important part in deciding the success or failure of a movie. Since the 2001 hit flick Chandni Bar to the recent romantic comedy Dil Toh Baccha Hai Ji, the filmmaker pointed out that although the subject has been different, his habit of controlling the budget hasn`t changed over of time.

Once, an actor was being approached to sign a film, which he didn`t want to. To get rid of them the actor demanded Rs 25 crore for the movie, thinking they won`t call him anymore. But the next day, the corporate house came to him with his signing amount stated the director. Since then his issue-based films like Page 3, Traffic Signal, Jail, Fashion, Corporate and Satta have got Madhur two more National Film Awards. Well!, we wish that the director may get success everytime he makes a film.

Rajkumar Santoshi isn’t powerful

Filmfare award winning Indian director Rajkumar Santoshi has given good stuff to the Bollywood industry. Still some hold the view that the filmmaker is not powerful. The director has made numerous announcements but non of the films seems to be on floor yet. Right now, talks about a romantic comedy with Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan are being talked about.


Some days before, Rajkumar Santoshi had announced a project with Abhishek and Katrina too. However, the filmmaker states that it takes much for a film to finalise. As we all know that after Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani, the director worked on a flick title 'Power' with powerful stars like Amitabh Bachchan, Ajay Devgn, Sanjay Dutt and Anil Kapoor. This film has now been put on hold because of date problems. Let’s see when the director get the time to bring the film on floors…

Bhansali-Rani together again

Bollywood most sought out actresses of Bollywood Rani Mukherjee and director Sanjay Leela Bhansali were not on talking terms recently. They have patched up after keeping a distance from each other for a span of few years.

It has been revealed that Sanjay Leela Bhansali who broke the ice was impressed by Rani's performance in No One Killed Jessica, so much so that he sent appreciation message to the actress desipte of the fact that they don't see eye to eye. It is said that now both sanjay and Rani have chatted too. If you remember both the duo were good friends once and worked together in Black and Saawariya.

A royal ignorance

Rani Mukherjee recently insulted her boyfriend Bollywood filmmaker Aditya chopra’s father and famous studio owner Yash Chopra at an awards ceremony. The actress as reported ignored the producer twice in front of bystanders. Rani Mukherjee is currently dating the divorced Aditya Chopra.

However, the Chopra parivaar are still interested on Aditya reuniting with his ex-wife Payal. On the alleged insult, the family said that everyone who walked past Yash Chopra spoke to him paying full respect. However, Rani did not make any such efforts.

RGV’s cost free project

Ram Gopal Varma well known as a filmmaker, Indian writer and producer has made numerous films on subjects like psychological thrillers, underworld gang warfare, movies related to politics and musicals, both in Hindi and Telugu versions. His successful movies includes names like Bhoot, Kshana Kshanam, Gaayam, Anaganaga Oka Roju, Kaun, Jungle, Sarkar , Sarkar Raj and Rakta Charitra.


Now the latest buzz is that the filmmaker's zero cost movie “Dongala Mutha” has been launched recently. The movie will be wrapped up on February 14, 2011. The movie is being made for free and it is speculated that the shooting of the film will be complete in five days. Ram Gopal Varma have stated that no character in this film including the actors, technicians and equipments suppliers are going to be paid any single penny. Actor Ravi Teja, Charmy Kaur, Prakash Raj, Lakshmi Manchu, Brahmanandam and others featured in the movie. The movie will be released on March 04, 2011.

Anil upset with Boney

Bollywood actor Anil Kapoor was very angry and disturbed with the sequel to his hit film Mr. India sequel. It has been years now that talks about making a sequel to Anil Kapoor's 1987-hit movie are running under process. But nothing seems to have moved ahead yet, and it's testing Anil's tolerance.


Anil Kapoor feels that action speak louder than words. The sequel to the flick is said to be produced by his brother Boney Kapoor and will star Anil Kapoor and Sridevi in the lead roles as before. Believe it or not, the latest buzz is making rounds that actor Salman Khan will be roped in to play the villain. We hope that this time too, Anil and Sridevi would sizzle out the screen to fire!!!

PC-Saif in Siddharth'ss upcoming

Priyanka Chopra has that magic spell on her filmmakers that already worked with her they want to do films with her again and again. Vishal Bharadwaj, who worked with Priyanka in “Kaminey,” has already roped the actress in his next film, Saath Khoon Maaf, which is due for release on January 21, 2011.

Similarly, another director Siddharth Anand, who first worked with Piggy Chops in Anjaana Anjaani, wanted to work with her again in his next, a mature love story that will have Saif playing his age. Siddharth Anand will be co-producing the film with Saif. And the production of the movie will start this year itself. . We hope that Saif and Priyanka set the screen on fire!!!

Sudhir-Chitrangada link-up rumours upset the lass

Bollywood actress Chitrangada Singh played a woman who doesn't believe in sticking to one man in her recently released film Yeh Saali Zindagi, but in real life the actress is a one-man woman and was really upset when she was linked with her filmmaker Sudhir Mishra.


It was her second Bollywood flick with Sudhir Mishra after her debut Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi that was released in 2003. Chitrangada Singh is married to golfer Jyoti Randhawa and has a son had also asserted that the incident did upset her a lot. The actress thought that as there's nothing much to write about her; so the media just find something or the other.

Just to make a good tale, several rumours are spreaded all around. The lass also started feeling awkward after hearing these kind of buzz. For Sudhir Mishra, the actress even said that he’s the master of refinement. The filmmaker has superb timing in comedy. He is so clever that he throws his line before you could actually realise.

Rajkumar Santoshi and Sunny together again

Much has been penned about their friendship gone bitter with time. Filmmaker Rajkumar Santoshi and actor Sunny Deol, who gave bollywood some of its memorable moments, are back together. According to the sources it has been claimed that Sunny Deol and Rajkumar Santoshi have decided to bury the split between them. The two have given hits like Ghayal, Ghatak, and Damini respectively.

After the success of Sunny’s recent release Yamla Pagla Deewana, both the actor and director have realised that they should join hands once again and do another successful flick. These days the they are working towards making this dream come true and at the same time hoping that something works out soon for them. Rajkumar Santoshi's last project Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani starring Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif was a big hit. And Sunny Deol's recent release also had a decent report at the box-office. Vikram returns to small screen

After making a trilogy of scary flicks, producer-director Vikram Bhatt is returning back to the small screen with Andhera, a series of creepy stories on channel Colors. Vikram even stated that he believes in ghosts and lives with them all the time. The filmmaker also said that he can feel their existence very well.

What’s scarier is to live with people around us. Two years ago, Ekta Kapoor had produced a show titled ‘Koi Aane Ko Hai’, which was based on real-life spirit tales written by those who had experiences with the baffling encounters with spirits. But this time Vikram Bhatt will take stories out of his own experiences rather than take them from someone else’s. Vikram Bhatt’s next release, a 3D horror movie “Haunted” is expected to hit theaters on April 15, 2011.
