Bollywood filmmaker Abhinay Deo is well-known to the world of film making. Having fourteen years of experience when it comes to advertising, directing movies, the filmmaker who have recently directed Abhishek Bachchan starrer Game is a original piece. Abhinay Deo was planning to calculate the result for his first ever big flick. In a discussion Abhinay Deo discussed about how he started working on the film.
A pure action thriller with a suspense drama has perfect ingredients that make a delicious and original recipe. The filmmaker wanted that the suspense genre should again revive in Bollywood film industry as he got inspiration from the 1960's when such kind of movies were in demand both in Bollywood and Hollywood too. In fact there have been numerous murder mysteries that have took birth from Bollywood. Abhinay wanted to bring it back with a different flavour. If we talk about action, "Game" doesn't have it throughout but action has been shot only where needed. There are the actors and performances which highlight the final verdict. Game is a typical original project. With a fine approach, the film has made to keep audience on the edge of their chairs. Another fact that can make the audience woo is debutant Sarah Jane Dias. Looks like the actress has worked hard on the project.
The filmmaker said that the actress is mature enough to understand what is needed for a character to play. Sarah Jane Dias understands that essence for sure. The team of 'Game' have shoot in five different countries and from one they have moved to another depending upon the climate conditions. The team faced cold winter waves, bitter summers, snow as well as rainy season too. Although with such a big film casting the makers of Game also had to keep every date of schedule in mind. Abhinay Deo told that the team started filming on the project in last January and ended the shoot by July which would have given a clear assumption that the movie was released quiet late. But then lot of hard work was put on in the post production and mainly lot of time was spent on the editing. In the starting it was planned that Game would be released in January 2011 with the India-Pakistan World Cup, the film was released a bit late.
