Gulzaar to write lyrics for Yash Chopra's film

It appears as if Bollywood filmmaker Yash Chopra's next venture is going to be a musical treat for all of us. After accompanying with music king A.R. Rahman, he has finally roped in ace lyricist Gulzar for his movie and is quite excited about it.Yash Chopra even said that though he has been associated with Yash Raj Films previously, this is the first time that he will be working alongside Gulzar sahab.

Yash Chopra who has decided to exercise the megaphone after seven years is looking forward to some excellent poetry, which he is personally very fond of. It will also be a great opportunity working with the award winning pair of A.R. Rahman and Gulzar sir and making some amazing and meaningful music.Both A. R. Rahman and Gulzar had together bagged the Oscar award for the song "Jai ho" from Danny Boyle's movie “ Slumdog Millionaire” which was released in 2009. On the other hand, Gulzar is also excited about working with Yash Chopra, who has made megahit movies like "Silsila",

"Chandni", "Lamhe", "Dil To Pagal Hai" and "Veer Zaara.” Gulzar concluded saying that Yash Chopra is someone who understands poetry and has almost certainly redefined the poetry of romance through the music of his films. There is a sense of thrill and eagerness in working with him. Gulzar so far has written down the lyrics for songs like "Tujhse naraaz nahin zindagi", "Aanewala pal" and the more recent peppy songs "Dil toh bacha hai ji" and "Darling".

Ferrari Ki Sawari kept on hold

Vidhu Vinod Chopra recently made a official declaration about his next Bollywood project after the release of successful box office hit 3 Idiots.However, the filmmaker has been powerless to finish the making of the movie as yet. According to a source, it has been revealed that director-producer Ekta Kapoor is the main cause behind the postponement of Ferrari Ki Sawari. It is a known fact that Ekta Kapoor's freshly released Marathi flick Taryanche Bait has a comparable storyline. Taryanche Bait was a father-son tale in which Sachin Khedekar's character makes a promise to his son that one day he’ll take him to a five star hotel in Mumbai and how the father struggles to accomplish his promise.
Similarly in Ferrari Ki Swari, Sharman Joshi promises his son a Ferrari ride.Now when Ekta’s Marathi movie is released and has received a decent feedback from the audiences, Vidhu Vinod Chopra who has written the script of the film doesn't want that the content should go waste or would be called as a remake of a regional movie due to the similar plot. Therefore, now the filmmaker is looking forward to make some necessary changes in the script due to which the ‘FKS’ will take some more time to wrap up.

This movie was thought to start early this year and was scheduled to release in the month of December 2011. The movie as reported will be directed by Rajesh Mapuskar who assisted Rajkumar Hirani during the making of Sanjay Dutt starrer Lage Raho Munnabhai and Aamir Khan featured 3 Idiots. Other than Sharman Joshi Ferrari Ki Sawari will also feature actress Deepika Padukone in the lead role.Munna Bhai Chale Amerika is an upcomingBollywood comedy genre flick that will be produced by Vidhu Vinod Chopra and directed by Rajkumar Hirani.

Rajkumar Santoshi's Ladies and Gentleman might be delayed

Ever since Amitabh Bachchan tweeted on micro-blogging site that his loving bahuAishwarya is gonna become a mother soon, the entire film fraternity have park themselves to take note of how the flick trade could be pretentious because of the actress’s present condition.Aishwarya Rai has two movies in her kitty at the moment, one being, Madhur Bhandarkar's Heroine and Rajkumar Santoshi's Ladies And Gentleman. While work on Heroine has already taken shape, but on the other side, Rajkumar Santoshi haven’t started film’s shooting.

Madhur Bhandarkar has mentioned that he had roped in Aishwarya Rai Bachchan for Heroine last month, and the movie went on floors earlier this month. As soon as Madhur came to know about the latest news he immediately mapped out a strategy to complete the film in a single schedule of 45 days. A source revealed that just fifteen days shoot of Heroine is not completed. Being an average budget movie, Heroine won't be affected in any big manner. On the other side, producers Madhur and Ronnie Screwvala of UTV have invested around Rs 18 crore in the movie.According to the buzz, Aish's character is showcased to be a depressed alcoholic, so in addition Madhur decided to shoot the actress with broad angle shots with a second camera to do the close-ups so that she did not have to shoot variations of the same scenes again.

The major problem for Madhur Bhandarkar could occur when it comes to promotion, by when the actress would be closer to her due date. Mahesh Bhatt predestined the conflict

The most renowned Bollywood director Mahesh Bhatt predestined the June 3, 2011 conflict and police firing at Forbesganj in Bihar that took four lives and stated that the happening was a mirror image of communal way of thinking. The filmmaker also said that the incident at Forbesganj is similar to what had happened in Gujarat last time. If such incident is not stopped, Bihar will also come across huge damage. There is a situation parallel to Jammu and Kashmir and Nagaland at Bhajanpura in Forbesganj and horror triumph in the minds of the people living there because of heavy police security in the area. Mahesh Bhatt have full confidence in Nitish Kumar, and said that he has requested the Chief Minister to bring a end to these kind of terrifying incidents.Social activist Shabnam Hashmi attacked the state government for deteriorating to make available reimbursements to the affected families even after a week of the incident.

The government holds that returns will be paid to the victims' families once the judicial investigation ends is inappropriate. SLB and KJO share sour relationship

Ace filmmakers Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Karan Johar are both famous personalities and both are well-known for their unique prospects of filmmaking. For few days, both the directors had obvious argue over Karan Johar's comment in which when he called Saawariya a ‘blue flick’. A upset Karan Johar had commented about Sanjay Leela Bhansali publically that if someone chose to discuss to others inspite of calling him personally, then maybe that individual is not a buddy at all. Then Karan appreciated Sonu Nigam, Shreya Ghosal and Sanjay Leela Bhansali and also called him one of the finest filmmakers of Bollywood industry. But Sanjay did not reacted at all to this and remained quiet.

But at the same time, Karan Johar is not the only reason that upsets Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Even once considered to be his most favourite star Salman Khan also upsets the director. SLB and Salman Khan too doesn’t share cordial relationship with one another now and they have parted ways since a long time.However, on the reality show X-Factor, the director is flaunting a more easy to get, temperate and cheering side of his. If these signs are true than Bhansali Saahab I think it’s the right time to resolve all the wars too!!

Franz Osten

Franz Osten was a famous German film director who in association with Niranjan Pal was among the first payers of Bombay Talkies. Franz Osten collaborated with Niranjan on a number of India's previous blockbuster movies like Achhut Kanya and Jeevan Naiya. As revealed, Franz was born as Franz Ostermayr in Munichin the year 1876. The German director trained to be a photographer like his dad and gave acting an attempt. In 1907, Franz founded a wandering cinema termed as the "Original Physograph Company" together with his brother Peter Ostermayr, who later invented the antecedent to Bavaria Film Studios. Franz Osten's silent movies tell multiplicity of Indian tales. 1926 release The Light of Asia contract with the life of Buddha. A Throw of Dice was related to the myths and legends haggard from Indian epic Mahabarata. All these above mentioned films have a say to rise the understanding of eastern religions and offered a banquet for the senses by showcasing elephants in festive decoration along with thousands of extras. His big sets were perfect for evading from reality, etc.

He directed Bollywood movies like Prem Sanyaswhich was released in 1925. Then he made Shiraz released in 1928. Prapancha Pash was released in1929 and the most famous film Achhut Kanyawas released in 1936. The filmmaker died on 2nd December 1956.

Manmohan Desai

Manmohan Desai the famous director of Bollywood was said to have relationship with actress Nanda from 1992 until he died in 1994. The filmmaker had one son Ketan Desai who is a part of the film industry presently. Manmohan got his first break with the Bollywood’s 1960 release Chhalia. Bluff Master, Dharam Veer, Desh Premee were the films directed by Manmohan Desai.

Manmohan Desai was acknowledged for his family-oriented, action-song-and-dance movies which supplied to the tastes of the Indian public and through which he got fame. His movies demonstrated a new genre called masala. The filmmaker then started working with Amitabh Bachchan on Amar Akbar Anthony, Parvarish, Suhaag, Naseeb, Desh Premee, Coolie, Mard and Ganga Jamuna Saraswati; all but the last were box office successes.

He was one of the directors who had a different kind of working style with Amitabh Bachchan, the others being Yash Chopra, Prakash Mehra, Ramesh Sippy, and Hrishikesh Mukherjee. Apart from the strong actor Amitabh Bachchan, Manmohan Desai also worked with Raj Kapoor in Chhalia, Shammi Kapoor, Rajesh Khanna in Sachaa Jhutha, Randhir Kapoor in Raampur Ka Lakshman, Shashi Kapoor in "Aa Gale Lag Jaa, with Dharmendra as well as Jeetendra in Dharam Veer and last but not the leas with the cute star Rishi Kapoor in Coolie. Out of the 20 movies that Manmohan Desai directed in his career span of 29 years, as stated thirteen were astounding hits. His success graph rated high.

Govind Nihalani

Govind Nihalani the famous filmmaker, cinematographer, screenwriter as well as a film producer has been directing Bollywood movies since the late 1970’s as records suggests. The filmmaker hails from Karachi, Sindh region in 1940 and his relatives shifted to India during the partition of 1947. The director started his career as a cinematographer and got graduated in cinematography from the Shree Jaya Chamrajendra polytechnic in Bangalore in 1962. The filmmaker was an Assistant Cinematographer to the renowned V. K. Murthy. Govind was connected with all the past flicks of Shyam Benegal and with the cinematography of Richard Attenborough's Oscar-winning classic Gandhi.

Both Govind Nihalani and Shyam Benegal are well known for their socially germane projectsGovind Nihalani’s initial directorial film was Aakrosh that featured veteran actors Om Puri, Naseeruddin Shah, the late Smita Patil and the late Amrish Puri. The movie which was based on the real life story stated a great impact on audiences globally The film had also shared the Golden Peacock for best movie at the International Film Festival of India which was organized in New Delhi back in the year 1981. Govind’s another venture Ardh Satya, was formed on a tale written by S.D. Panwalkar, that is remembered by film aficionados till date.

B.R. Chopra

Baldev Rai Chopra popularly known by the name of B. R. Chopra was an renowned Hindi filmmaker as well as producer. He had also made small screen daily soaps. Chiefly acknowledged for Hindi social movies such as Naya Daur , Kanoon, Gumrah and Humraz, in addition the grand TV Series, Mahabharat that was aired in the late 1980s. After the partition of India and Pakistan in 1947, the director moved to Delhi. When he shifted to Mumbai, he directed his first flick Afsana, which was released in 1951 and starred Ashok Kumar in a double role.

As said, the movie turned out to be a successful hit and since then he made a mark in Bollywood. In 1962, he bagged the Filmfare Best Director Award for Kanoon. In 1998 he received the Dadasaheb Phalke Award and in 2003 he got the Filmfare Lifetime Achievement Award. B.R. Chopra then directed Chandni Chowk, casting Meena Kumari in the lead character and the movie was released in 1954. In the year 1955, the veteran director formed his own production house, with the name B.R Films. B.R. Chopra died on 5 November 2008, when he was 84 in Mumbai.
