Aamir to work with Aditya Chopra

According to the sorces, it has been said that Bollywood actor Aamir Khan may not sign up for Dhoom 3. The reason behind this is that Aditya Chopra is keen to start the film this October, while Aamir Khan can’t start shooting for another movie till February 2011.


Now that Peepli Live has become a commercial hit, Aamir Khan wants to focus on the post-production of his wife Kiran Rao’s directorial debut, Dhobi Ghat. Since the actor is planning to release the movie this winter, he can’t take up any acting assignment for now. According to other sources, it has been learnt that Aamir is believed to have conveyed his wish of working in Aditya Chopra’s next as a director. It still remains a secret that whether Aamir and Aditya collaborate or not….

Sartaj Singh Pannu proves his talent

If we analyse the movies released in the last couple of days, we will find that there was a wide variety in all of them. the recently released movies included Help (a horror flick), Peepli Live ( a comedy satire), Tere Bin Laden etc.

Out of all these newly released movies, the one that caught most of the attention was Aamir Khan’s Peepli Live starring Raghubir Yadav along with others. Now the second interesting movie which has been released is Soch Lo. The movie Soch Lo which has got a lot of appreciation at international venues is now released in India. The movie will also be released in 13 languages. Sartaj Singh Pannu has made his debut as an actor, writer and director with this movie. The report of the box office about this movie and the various reviews say that Sartaj Singh Pannu is an extremely talented director and he will go a long way!

Sartaj says that the movie received a great applause during screenings in Los Angeles. He also said that the movie was screened in LA twice and now that it has got international recognition. Similarly, the film has created a buzz in India too. The young director cum actor further said that usually, people think that if a film is screened abroad and liked by foreigners, then it must be good.

Sartaj Singh Pannu also mentioned that post the LA screening, they had been receiving loads of calls from abroad to release the film there also. The movie Soch Lo is actually the story of a wounded man who has been left to die in a desert. But fortunately this man survives the ordeal but unfortunately loses his identity. The movie waves in an interesting manner further and creates more interest with each scene. To know more about the movie , you will have to watch it!

Anusha Rizvi, a new name in the Bollywood directors’ list

Anusha Rizvi has just made her debut but it seems as if she is already a very experienced director. Well, for those who are still unaware of this name, let us tell you that she is the one who has directed the movie Peepli Live. Yes! The director of Peepli Live has made a debut with this movie which really seems unbelievable.

Anusha has not only directed this movie but she has also written the story by herself. The movie Peepli Live which is produced by Aamir Khan is actually a comic satire on the suicides of farmers and it also presents the picture of contemporary media, bureaucracy and politics.

Most of the artists in this movie are not the”well- known” faces of Bollywood except for Raghubir Yadav. The movie competed in the Sundance Film Festival and became the first Indian film to achieve this feat. In India, the movie has received an 'A' adult certificate for language use. Once you will watch this movie you would really like to appreciate the director who is none other then Anusha Rizvi.

Anusha Rizvi is a journalist turned director. But her precious work has proved that she can use her journalism in the right way. The most talented Bollywood director Ashutosh Gowariker, who has made amazing movies like Lagaan, Swades and even Jodhaa Akbar , has taken on the responsibility of rubbing off patriotism on the hearts and souls of as many Indians as possible.


The film-maker who is directing Abhishek Bachchan and Deepika Padukone in Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Se has announced that he will now be taking questions on Twitter every Saturday on the history of India’s freedom movement and also about the movie.

Ashutosh Gowariker tweeted that, “Wishing you a great 63rd year of Independence! What better moment to tell you more about Surjya Sen, the man who planned the Chittagong Uprising of 1930 — the greatest revolutionary uprising against the British Empire in India’s history.”

Kareena upsets 'Madhur Bhandarkar'

Madhur Bhandarkar is a critically acclaimed filmmaker of Bollywood Town. Now, the big buzz is that, his forthcoming project ‘Heroine’ may land in trouble. The movie was set to go the floors in the month of December, everything was finalised according to the schedule. But the twist came when the film’s lead Kareena said that, she has no dates available for the flick.


Sources say that, Kareena's top most priority was his best buddy's Karan Johar's movie. She filled all her dates (in december) for his movie and now the actress is requesting the Director (Madhur Bhandarkar) to postpone his movie till the month of March. Madhur is really upset with this unprofessional behaviour of Bebo. Now, he is planning to move towards a male-oriented subject whose script he is ready with him.

It is worthwhile mentioning here that, Kareena has been crowned as the Most Stylish Woman by a film magazine. Presently, the actress is busy in the promotion of her upcoming movie 'We Are Family'. Madhur's forthcoming project is 'Dil Toh Bachcha Hai Ji' with Ajay Devgan and Emraan Hashmi.

SLB a tough producer

Sanjay Leela Bhansali is known to be a very demanding director, and now that he has turned producer with My Friend Pinto… It is heard that after Sanjay Leela Bhansali saw some rushes of Raghav Dar's My Friend Pinto, starring Prateik Babbar and Kalki Koechlin, the filmmaker was unhappy with the way it looked.


Sanjay decided it was time to make his presence felt on the sets once again. The day Sanjay Leela Bhansali came on the sets, he didn't like anything, from the set to the choreography and scenes. The director-turned-producer changed everything and shot the whole scene from the beginning. Denying all the talks, the current director of the film said that Sanjay has always been very encouraging. We have completed more than one schedule and almost half the film was done by the time he came on the sets.

Raghav Dar, who has assisted Sanjay Leela Bhansali on his opera, Padmavati and was associate director on Jaane Tu... Ya Jaane Na, adds to his statement that SLB doesn't come to the sets every day.

Rajkumar Santoshi ready with his new project

Bollywood director Rajkumar Santoshi after giving a superhit film to the industry Ajab Prem Ki Gazab Kahani that starred Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif playing the lead roles has found his elan. Feroz Nadiadwala signing Rajkumar Santoshi is no news, but we bring you more on this.


The flick will star Amitabh Bachchan, Ajay Devgan, Sanjay Dutt and Harman Baweja as per the reports. The movie will go on floors next year and will be shot in India and overseas. The movie is will be an action thriller and promises to be a real entertainer right from the starting…….

David Dhawan approaches Kangana

The flawless beauty of Bollywood Kangana Ranaut, who has always played serious and complex roles in flicks like Gangster and Fashion, will be doing something different in her next movie. According to sources, Kangana Ranaut has been roped in by David Dhawan for his next film titled Rascal.


The movie, which is based on a comedy genre, will be featuring Ajay Devgan and Sanjay Dutt playing the male leads. In the film, Kangana will be romancing both actors. But on a surprising note it has been revealed that when David Dhawan was contacted, he told that he hadn't finalised his female lead as yet. . Even Kangana was unavailable for comment....

Rajkumar Santoshi will be sued

There is a buzz is that Bollywood director Raj Kumar Santoshi will be sued by K Sera Sera for not returning the signing amount of a movie. The director who has minted big amount of capital from his recent superhit flick Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani has a strange excuse for this.


He stated that if he pays back the money he will not be able to run his kitchen. Threatening to take the matter to court soon, Sanjay Lai, MD, K Sera Sera, says that we had signed Rajkumar Santoshi for a film in 2007 and paid him Rs 1.10 crore but since the film didn’t take off we requested him to return the money.
