Rajkumar Hirani edits the script for Munnabhai Chale Amerika

Seems like, Munnabhai won’t go to America, finally. After the grand success of 2006 release Lage Raho Munnabhai, producer-filmmaker jodi Vidhu Vinod Chopra and Rajkumar Hirani had decided to make Munnabhai Chale Amerika. In the third part movie of the successful permit, Munna and Circuit, portrayed by actor Sanjay Dutt and Arshad Warsi respectively were set to take a trip to the USA to meet the President. Now, writer-director Rajkumar Hirani who has also directed the award winning film 3 Idiots, has according to the sources edited his content completely,

Rajkumar Hirani
and while he remained unavailable for comment, Arshad Warsi put himself forward saying that the fresh story has nothing to do with the USA or it’s President. There will be no USA in the next Munnabhai movie. As far as Arshad knows the matter, the flick’s script is completely changed. We wish that the things work in a positive way for the movie. As decided, the shooting for the film will most probably start by mid-2012. Munnabhai Chala Amerika had actually turned down with the idea of Munna meeting the US President, but the filmmaker later agreed that the viewpoint had been amended from the story after he found that actor Shahrukh Khan was also seen meeting the President in his My Name Is Khan in a scene. It also ensue previously in 2008 release Singh is Kinng. Sooner or later, the makers at last decided to thrust aside the USA idea exclusively.

Quite captivating some time back, a two-minute puzzler trailer had been released, in which Munna and Circuit are seen learning English for the trip. Apparently, the jotted content for the forthcoming project is all set, but 3 Idiots director is busy with his next venture, Ferrari Ki Sawaari while Vidhu Vinod Chopra is jammed up with his Hollywood movies. That’s the actual cause why no official declaration has been made yet. Arshad Warsi, at the same time, is busy with a host of movies. Arshad enacts a real-life outlaw, Mahender Fauji in Zilla Ghaziabad, while Ishqiya 2 moves to November. Arshad will also play a lawyer in Jolly LLB.

Mahesh Bhatt roped in Vivek

Bollywood actor Vivek Oberoi has bagged a Mahesh Bhatt flick, the gratitude was shown to Sanjay Dutt. The ‘Munnabhai’ actor, who had sometime ago been approached to enact the lead, has now opted out from the project facing date issues as he is studded with several commitments. And this move of the superstar has come as a shock stage to all those who have seen Sanjay Dutt’s and Mahesh’s cordial relationship. Filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt mentioned that Vivek Oberoi has met up with Mukesh Bhatt and Kunal.

Mahesh Bhatt
He has been narrated the whole story. However, till then, it will be not okay to assert that Vivek is on-board. In the world of business, there is much between the two parties. This has happened as Sanjay Dutt didn’t work out. But yes, Vivek had expressed his keen interest to be a part of the film and we would be happy to have him on-board as soon as possible. Interestingly, Vivek Oberoi does not share a healthy relationship with Sanjay Dutt. Vivek Oberoi, as per the reports had made bad remarks about Sanjay’s wife when he was shooting for action film ‘Shootout at Lokhandwala’. Eearly directional career of Mahesh Bhatt included of acclaimed movies like Arth, Janam, Naam, Zakhm, Saaransh and so on.

He was later the writer of numerous commercial films, from dramas like Hum Hain Rahi Pyar Ke and comedies like Duplicate, though he was mostly recognised for thrillers like Jism, Who Lamhe, Inteha, etc. Mahesh Bhatt is co-owner of movie production house, Vishesh Films, with brother Mukesh Bhatt. Mahesh Bhatt as stated is also a member of the advisory board of U.S. nonprofit TeachAIDS. His serious project demanded strong performances from the performers, and stars who worked under Bhatt's camp have won awards for them in his films, like Filmfare Awards and National Film Awards.

Knock Out is a political thriller

Bollywood filmmaker Mani Shankar has always been known for his original movies like 16 December, Mukhbiir and Rudraksh. Showing his rude reactions to the plagiarism charges against his recent release Knock Out featuring Irrfan Khan, Sanjay Dutt and Kangana Ranaut.

Mani ShankarMani Shankar told that first of all just because his film shows some shots of a man in a phone booth being targeted by a man with a gun, it doesn't mean that he have made Phone Booth. Defending himself the director said that Phone Booth itself is a copy of Kari Skogland's ‘Liberty Stands Still’.

So Mani Shankar doesn’t see how charges of plagiarism can be targeted at them when the movie is itself not the epitome of originality. L. K. Advani too watched Knock Out in Delhi and found that the film is quite refreshing. Mani concluded by asserting that Knock Out is a multi-layered political thriller about a real scam that nearly ruined our nation.

Soham Shah - Out of KJo Shadows

Soham Shah mysteriously & abruptly disappeared after his debut film Kaal with Dharma Productions released. The film did no wonders on box-office and so was his camaraderie with the production house.

But Luck, his new film seems to have brought Soham Shah back. After his bitter parting from Dharma Productions and Karan Johar, he had to start his struggle all over again. A lot of people took advantage of the situation, considering the controversy that followed our split.

Something or the other would always go wrong at the last minute and eventually he was 'out of work' for almost four years, till Luck happened.

That Soham and Karan Johar had a bitter split is known to all and sundry, but according to Soham, it was a professional decision he took at that stage in life and he doesn't regret it one bit. Infact, he is still very much grateful and indebted to him.

His latest film Luck is Shree Ashtavinayak Production. Soham's association with them by luck only and through a common friend Rafi Kazi who introduced Soham to Rajbhai [Mehta], which he initially refused, since it had become difficult to judge who was fake and who wasn't. But after the very first meeting with Rajbhai, he felt some weight in his talks and that's how he went ahead with the film. Somewhere, he have to give maximum credit to Sanjay Dutt for making this work. He believed in him and supporting him wholeheartedly.

Luck stars A-listers like Sanjay Dutt, Imran Khan, Mithun Chakrabarty and Danny Denzongpa. But what stands out is Ravi Kishan, who has been cast in a crucial role. This unusual choice was made by him after watching Big Boss and as yet he is very confident of it.

The talented director now has two more scripts being developed; one of them is meant for Sanjay Dutt's production house.

Well...his time has come with luck!!!
