Crook's promos leaked

Directed by Mohit Suri and Emraan Hashmi starrer upcoming movie Crook-It’s Good To Be Bad has fallen into big trouble as the reports reveal. Yes! the promos of the movie have been leaked online before it's official release in October. Crook deals with the racist attacks on Indian people living in Australia.

Mahesh Bhatt, the producer of the film, has planned to reshoot the entire promo sequence. In a statement, Mukesh Bhatt stated that the leaked promo carried the most important dialogues and sequences and they were planning to release it only close the release of the film but he was shocked to see the promos on YouTube.

An unknown source uploaded the promo on YouTube. Director Mohit Suri said that the release date of the film is coming closer and the movie stars debutant Neha Sharma Emraan Hashmi and Arjan Bajwa.

Sanjay Gupta to become Paa

The famous Bollywood filmmaker Sanjay Gupta, has a great reason to celebrate. Sanjay and his wife Anu are expecting their first child in April 2011. Soon going to become dad, Sanjay Gupta said that they are waiting to share this happiest moment with their family and buddies.


The director also mentioned that their first baby will be an Arian, just like him. His wife just laughs by saying that she has to prepare herself to handle two kids than.
Sanjay Gupta will be launching his next production soon and he mentioned that things had been a little different related to home and work.

However, for the filmmaker things are now falling into right place. Since his wife has given him the good news, he believes that the things are now shaping up for his forthcoming flick. We wish Sanjay and his wife to have a healthy baby.

Kangna not happy with Basu

Though it may be considered that Bollywood director Anurag Basu could be Kangna Ranaut's mentor, but the actress is not too happy with him these days. According to latest buzz, Kangna Ranaut feels that Anurag Basu is trying to portray her in the same light time once again.

The two have worked earlier in many movies and the common factor being that the actress has played the character of a neurotic in almost all the films with this director.. Now, Kangana Ranaut wants to end all this and now she doesn't want to get typecasted by playing the same roles over and over again. Well, it sounds like Kangna's decision have caused a little bit of strain in the mentor equation for the time being....

Hirani and Vidhu Vinod Chopra hit the track

On last Wednesday Bollywood film 3 Idiots was declared the most popular movie that provided wholesome entertainment at the 57th National Film Awards and producer Vidhu Vinod Chopra said that it was a very proud moment for his production house. Do you know that it is Rajkumar Hirani and Vidhu Vinod Chopra's third national honour as director and producer respectively.


Earlier, their movies Munnabhai M.B.B.S. and Lage Raho Munna Bhai too had won the national award. Rajkumar Hirani on this overwhelming news quoted, “it’s extremely humbling when the audience loved and cherised this film so much and now we are also getting recognised by getting a National Award."Swanand Kirkire was declared the Best Lyricist for penning the beautiful song Behti hawa sa for 3 Idiots. Aamir Khan starrer 3 Idiots had broken all records by grossing over Rs.450 crore.

Vidhu Vinod Chopra who just returned from the US where he was working on pre-production of his next movie, was very happy to be welcomed in such a way with this great news. Sharman Joshi, R Madhavan, Kareena Kapoor, Boman Irani also played pivotal roles in the film.

RGV to make cop flick

Bollywood filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma is busy these days with his new project. The director is actually making a sequel to his 2002 film Department that was itself a prequel to the Nana Patekar’s starrer Ab Tak Chhapan.


The movie revolves around encounter specialists who fall apart following a fight between dons who they owe their loyalty to. The filmmaker wants to cast Pradeep Sharma, Vijay Salaskar, Daya Nayak and Sachin Vaze, Sanjay Dutt, Ajay Devgan and Abhishek Bachchan playing the cops while the megastar Amitabh Bachchan will be playing the role of a senior cop.

The twist that comes in the film is when Sanjay Dutt, who plays the role of Pradeep Sharma and Ajay Devgan who plays Daya Nayak, forces others in the department including Abhishek Bachchan who plays Sachin Vaze to take sides. What else follows remains the bottom line of the film.

Working with Salman is tough

Bollywood director and screenwriter Abhinav Kashyap very well knowing the fact that actor Salman Khan was a huge star, considered himself very lucky when Salman Khan gave the nod to his film, Dabangg.


But it was only when Abhinav Kashyap started shooting with Salman Khan that he actually realized Salman’s superstar status and massive popularity amongst the masses. The director also had to get familiarized with the timings when Sallu would report for his shots. The director said that with Salman, the day starts off late. He comes in by 10.30 a.m. and is ready to shoot by 12 for a 9 a.m. shift. But once the superstar gets into action, every scene gets canned pretty fast and we would always wind up the shoot on time. The movie also featured Sonakshi Sinha playing the lead role.

Rajkumar Hirani impressed with Antardwand

Antardwand seems to be getting numerous applauses up from the A plus directorial fraternity in Bollywood... Soon after Imtiaz Ali supported Sushil Rajpal's directorial debut, which won the national award, Bollywood biggest director Rajkumar Hirani showed his support at a special screening.

Rajkumar Hirani stated that it's a very realistic, well made film, and moreover it's a true story, which makes it more interesting....The movie brings to light that these unfortunate incidents still happen in India, believe it or not!!!..True stories truly inspires the filmmaker (Rajkumar Hirani) more than anything else….

Besides the star cast Raj Singh Chaudhary, Swati Sen, the other stars present were Nikhil Dwivedi, Shweta Basu Prasad, Anjum Rizvi, Maradona etc.

Boney Kapoor to launch son

Filmmaker Boney Kapoor is launching his son Arjun early next year to the Bollywood film fraternity. Though there had been a lot of assumption on the matter, Boney Kapoor had thus far refrained from making any statements on his son’s future.

Boney Kapoor said that he thinks that his son Arjun is ready for a launch. He knows the ropes of filmmaking. He has worked with Karan Johar and Nikhil Advani and assisted the latter in Kal Ho Na Ho . 

Arjun was once dating Salman Khan’s sister Arpita. She later dumped him for business tycoon Pramod Goenka’s son Yash.

The news is that now Arjun will be paired with Sonakshi Sinha in his debut.

Amitabh to work with Abbas-Mustan

Amitabh Bachchan has become extremely choosy and hasn’t signed a movie for a long time now. Although Big B is scheduled to do a film with Rajkumar Santoshi, he is yet to sign on the dotted line. But now it has been reported that Amitabh Bachchan will be doing a film with Abbas Mustan.

Abbas and Mustan were at the Bachchan residence, Jalsa to narrate the final draft of their film to Abhishek Bachchan. While Abhishek took a break during the narration, Big B joined them. During the course of their conversation, they told Amitabh that they have never worked with him and would love to do that. The sources said that it won’t be a thriller as is usually expected from Abbas-Mustan but something completely different which is a change from their usual genre.

Aamir to work with Aditya Chopra

According to the sorces, it has been said that Bollywood actor Aamir Khan may not sign up for Dhoom 3. The reason behind this is that Aditya Chopra is keen to start the film this October, while Aamir Khan can’t start shooting for another movie till February 2011.


Now that Peepli Live has become a commercial hit, Aamir Khan wants to focus on the post-production of his wife Kiran Rao’s directorial debut, Dhobi Ghat. Since the actor is planning to release the movie this winter, he can’t take up any acting assignment for now. According to other sources, it has been learnt that Aamir is believed to have conveyed his wish of working in Aditya Chopra’s next as a director. It still remains a secret that whether Aamir and Aditya collaborate or not….
