Farhan Akhtar: Time to celebrate a decade of Dil Chahta Hai

Farhan Akhtar is an the only Indian Filmmaker who is also known as a Script writer, actor, playback singer, lyricist, film producer and television host. His directorial debut Dil Chahta Hai in 2001 which was highly praised. After Bollywood star Aamir Khan, who celebrated 10 years of his production house recently, director-turned-actor Farhan Akhtar is all set to celebrate a decade of his directorial venture Dil Chahta Hai with a special screening July 24 the date the film. Other movies which he directed are Don and Lakshya.

Bollywood actor Fahan Akhtar is in the news with his new film Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara Farhan Akhtar has clarified that the story of his sister’s Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara has no similarity with his directorial debut Dil Chahta Hai. Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara is a film about three young men who take a holiday that changes their lives. Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, a road movie, stars Hrithik Roshan, Farhan Akhtar, Abhay Deol, Katrina Kaif and Kalki Koechlin. It was shot largely in Spain. Kabir (Abhay Deol), Imraan (Farhan Akhtar) and Arjun (Hrithik Roshan) meet up in Barcelona and set off on an adventure that not only helps them iron out their differences but also face their fears and alter their perceptions about life.

The release of Zindagi Milegi Na Dobara had been postponed from May 30 to July 15. Commenting on this delay bollywood director Farhan Akhtar said that the movie crew are very, very happy with the film has been made. In order to get feed back the movie had showed to a couple of people and we are not in hurry to release the movie until we get 100% sure.
