Divya inplace of Manisha

The Nepali-Indian actress Manisha Koirala who made her debut in Bollywood in 1991 with Subhash Ghai's much acclaimed film Saudagar, has been replaced by actress Divya Dutta in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s forthcoming film My Friend Pinto.


It has been reported that Manisha Koirala herself volunteered to leave the movie because of her marriage that was on June 19, 2010. However, there are those in the Sanjay Leela Bhansali camp who say that they are very happy with having Divya in place of Manisha. They said that Divya Dutta reportedly charges much less than Manisha.

Raju keen to cast Aamir again

The Munnabhai director Rajkumar Hirani has recently been put at numero uno on Bollywood power list of directors by Filmfare magazine. Asked about which star he’s gonna cast for his next project, superstar Shahrukh Khan or will it be the perfectionist Aamir Khan.


To this the director said that even though he considered Aamir Khan the best, he had to write a script before casting the lead hero. The noted filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani said that his film 3 Idiots grossed 5 billion Rupees.

Now the question arises that is Rajkumar Hirani’s next film really based on 300 gods? Raju is also working on another Munnabhai script....We hope that the director will agin spell his magic on the audiences....

Prakash Jha to shoot next film in Bhopal

The most talented film-maker, Prakash Jha who shot his film Raajneeti in Bhopal, will be shooting his next project in the same city. In an interview Prakash Jha told that his next movie would be titled Aarakshan and will star megastar Amitabh Bachchan playing the lead role... Follow Amitabh Bachchan on Twitter.

The movie also stars Ajay Devgn and Manoj Bajpayee playing pivotal roles...The director also mentioned that shooting for the flick would start in December this year and the entire film will be shot in this city only.

The film-maker said that his new film intends to complete two tasks, to explore if reservations have generated enough opportunities for the lower castes and second to try to shed misunderstandings about the issue....

Rajkumar Hirani to make a film on Gods

The latest news about Bollywood director Rajkumar Hirani is that he is now going to make a movie on the Gods of the Hindu pantheon. The flick will be as it is said is a humourous take on how people worship so many God and Godesses and the problems it creates in the society.

Rajkumar Hirani has already discussed the idea with his close associate Abhijat Joshi, who is credited with writing 3 Idiots and the two have started work on the script as reported. Meanwhile, the filmmaker is also working on the third installment of the Munnabhai series, Munnabhai Chale Amrika.

Anurag's simple fundaaaa

Anurag Kashyap’s production Udaan turned into a success despite tough challenges that were thrown from four other releases on the very same day. Anurag Ksahyap told that the strength of a story like Udaan is that audiences don’t feel it’s a film but their own story.


Anurag also stated that combined budget of his flicks has been Rs 30 crore. The primary cost of most of the movies come from lifestyle expenses and unwanted luxuries. Anurag Kashyap also said that likewise when they make movies it is like going to work and we don’t have luxuries at work.

Aamir Hirani's Munnabhai

The most talented Bollywood filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani has always served super-entertaining movies to the audience and this time the director is planning the remake of the super-hit movie, ‘Munnabhai MBBS’ as ‘Munnabhai Chale Amreeka’. Rajkumar Hirani have plans to cast his favorite actor, Aamir Khan in place of Sanjay Dutt and Sharman Joshi in place of Arshad Warsi.


Rajkumar Hirani carries interesting notes with the main highlights of his superhit flicks ‘3 idiots’, and ‘Lago Raho Munnabhai’. But Aamir Khan is shocked as well as surprised on the news and doubts on it.In fact Aamir Khan also says that he can only visualize Sanjay Dutt as Munnabhai and nobody else.

Aamir further mentioned that this news is completely untrue. And he has no clue what it's all about, nor has Rajkumar Hirani narrated him something like this. Rajkumar Hirani has not officially signed the film with Aamir and is currently busy in shooting for ‘Dhobhi Ghaat’ and promoting ‘Peepli Live’.

Boney Kapoor in trouble

Bollywood film Milenge Milenge does not seem to be very lucky for producer Boney Kapoor since it has hit the big screens. It has been revealed that first it was Kareena Kapoor and Shahid Kapoor's break up which stopped the production of the movie in its half way, then Boney Kapoor upsetted Kareena for the promos of the film.



Though Milenge Milenge proved that public is very less concerned about the on screen pair of Kareena and Shahid.. But, it becomes a problem when someone from the audience is getting affected by the film's release. Yes! believe it or not Mr. Prasad Doke who has a business of repairing and assembling computers have recently threatened to sue producer Boney Kapoor for the film Milenge Milenge.

Mr. Prasad Doke claimed that he has been mentally harassed as soon as the movie got released. Prasad Doke's mobile number has been used in the film as Kareena's cell phone number. Now it looks like Bonney Kapoor's small mistake is going to take him way to the court.

Vishal ropes in Aish

Demand for Bollywood gorgeous actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan never seems to end. Even after Raavan fell below expectations still Aishwarya Rai continues to be in demand. The latest name to be added to the list is of Vishal Bhardwaj.

According to the sources Aishwarya has been offered movies by Vishal on two occasions. Once for his debut flick and once in the in the very recently - Saat Khoon Maaf, a film that now has gone to Priyanka Chopra due to Aish’s hectic schedule.
Aishwarya asserted that, Vishal and she have been wanting to work together for quite some time.

Vipul and Akshay are friends forever

Vipul is surprised by the rumours suggesting his clashes with Akhsay . Director -Producer Vipul Shah, is a dear friend of Akshay Kumar. The duo is enjoying their pure friendship. Rumours said that the friendship has come to an end, reason- Akshay wished the movie Action Replayy to release by the time of Diwali but Vipul did not give his consent.

Are these only rumours! Inside stories say- there were some clashes between Akshay and Vipul regarding release date of Action Replayy, features Aishawarya as co-star.

Vipul clears, yes the actor wished to release the movie on November 5, being producer it was his job to decide the date. Akshay didn't interfere in any thing.Vipul was taken aback by reading the news of their split in a trade magazine.

Punit says he is not dating Sonam

I Hate Luv Storys , is giving rise to a fresh love story. Romours of link ups between director Punit Malhotra and Sonam are circling the industry. Since Imraan Khan is engaged, it is quite obvious for the audience to get news about the link ups between the young Director and a young heroine.

Whether it is a publicity stunt or something is actually cooking between them, strikes every mind. Punit Malhotra the Director of Karan Johar’s production I Hate Luv Storys, is not frustrated by the flying rumours of his link ups with leading lady of the movie and daughter of Anil Kapoor, Sonam Kapoor. He clearly denies saying that he is not dating Sonam, using a a nick sentence that is always used to deny these kinds of link ups " we are just good friends, nothing more than that."

Punit Malhotra, nephew of Manish Malhotra was Karan Johar's assistant. The young director doesn't believe in love stories although he confesses to have fallen in love many times over. Strange but true! He says discussing rumours in not worth besides he laughs saying Karan has not paid him extra to entertain these kind of rumours.

Karan makes fun of Sanjay Leela Bhansali

The release date of Karan Johar's released flick I Hate Luv Storys was round the corner and it is said that the director played by Samir Soni in the film depicts Sanjay Leela Bhansali in the real. Sami Soni does exactly the same what Sanjay does on the set.

Karan Johar and Sanjay Leela Bhansali are close friends and both enjoyed making fun of each other. It is learnt that a lot of the scenes on the sets of the director’s film in ‘I Hate Luv Storys’ are taken from the way Sanjay presents himself on the sets."

In fact, Imran Khan’s character interacts with Samir the way actor Ranbir Kapoor did while assisting Sanjay in the movie Black.
