Piggy Chops will not be seen in 2 States

In December last year, it was reported how Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra after being signed for the lead role in Vishal Bhardwaj's adaptation of Chetan Bhagat's ‘Two States’ suddenly backed out, all thanks goes to the lead star Shahrukh Khan and his faith that the script of the movie required a talented actress. Appears as if, Bollywood baadshah has now had a change of feel. SRK not only suggested on having Priyanka on board again, but also persuaded the actress to take up the offer without thinking much.

Vishal Bhardwaj and Priyanka Chopra
Vishal Bhardwaj’s 7 Khoon Maaf that starred Piggy Chops playing the main lead was a dud at the box office and that could also be one of the reasons that PC decided to turn down the offer. The fact that she is a Punjabi kudi and the character was that of a South Indian girl, also worked against her. However, looks like Shahrukh Khan's reference has conquered all weirdness. But both the filmmaker and Shahrukh are convinced that Priyanka can carry on the South Indian character well. They feel she holds the flexibility. And PC will learn how to speak Tamil. Even producer Sajid Nadiadwala is influenced that Priyanka can take the role to great heights. There is a great members involved, including Shahrukh Khan, Sajid Nadiadwala and Vishal Bharadwaj and Piggy Chops admitted that she will definitely plan to work with them at some time in the future.

However at this time, Priyanka stated that she’s just committed to finishing her current projects on hand, which include Kunal Kohli's next Barfee, and Krrish2. 2 States: The Story of My Marriage is the third Chetan Bhagat novel to motivate a film, after Hello, based on his book ‘One Night @ The Call Centre’ and the superhit 3 Idiots, aroused by Chetan’s bestseller ‘Five Point Someone.’ If Priyanka Chopra had decided to do 2 States, it would have been her third flick based on a novel. The first was as told Ashutosh Gowariker's What's Your Rashee?, based on Madhu Rye's Kimball Ravenswood, than came Vishal Bhardwaj’s 7 Khoon Maaf, inspired by Ruskin Bond's short story Susanna's Seven Husbands.

Piggy Chops no more on Vishal's list

Bollywood is a natural disaster-prone zone, a exposure that breaks on every Friday of the week. The lukewarm response and box-office disappointment of Priyanka Chopra starrer 7 Khoon Maaf has particularly taken a charge on the actress. As a result, the actress will not be seen in Vishal Bhardwaj's next project, but Piggy Chops has also runaway the situation by taking the first flight out of Bombay, to the United States. Is PC so much so stressed out? The filmmaker of “7 Khoon Maaf”,

Vishal & Priyanka Chopraand PC seemed like a perfect director-and-cogitate combination with the success of Kaminey that was released in 2009 and also had Shahid Kapoor in the lead role. However, 7 Khoon Maaf turned out to be a commercially and critically failed attempt; Vishal Bhardwaj didn't transform into India's Hitchcock and Priyanka Chopra could not become its Janet Leigh or Kim Novak.Piggy Chops was the only name on Vishal Bhardwaj's wishlist for his adaptation of Chetan Bhagat's bestseller “2 States”, featuring Shahrukh Khan and being produced by Sajid Nadiawala. This now has all changed.

The filmmaker and the producer are now going a different direction, opening up the character to other possible actresses.Priyanka who was once Vishal’s favourite, a sizzling contender, has just delivered a fiasco with him.It is now a toss mainly between Kareena Kapoor and Katrina Kaif. It might even be even Deepika Padukone or Asin, but it won't be Priyanka for sure. It has been speculated that Piggy Chops flew to the United States in a way to overcome another disappointmentSasha (Shahid Kapoor) is also fully out of her life now. We hope that all the things become smooth between the filmmaker and the actress soon..

The Bollywood Maestro: Ashutosh gowarikar !!!

Ashutosh gowarikar

An actor who took up directing after almost a decade, Ashutosh Gowariker is one of those rare people who take the path less taken and, although it was a rough going, he is now one of India's elite directors. He began his film career modeling in commercials by Govind Nihalani and Jenny Pinto. He entered Hindi cinema with Ketan Mehta'sHoli (1984), as Ranjeet

Prakash, one of the main protagonists. The same film which marked Aamir Khan’s child artist spree. His acting career continued with Mahesh Bhatt's Naam (1986), David Rathod's West Is West (1987), Saeed Akhtar Mirza's Salim Langde Pe Mat Ro (1989), Jalal Agha's Goonj (1989), Anant Balani's Gawahi (1989), and Kundan Shah's Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa (1993). He also acted in award-winning Marathi-language films such as the Ujwal Thengdi creation Vazir (1994) and Shraboni Deodhar_'s Sarkarnama (1998). Alongside these features, TV serials like Amol Palekar's "Kachchi Dhoop" (1987), the Saeed Akhtar Mirza & Aziz Mirza-Kundan Shah collaboration "Circus" (1989), and Pradeep Uppoor and B.P. Singh's "C.I.D." (1999) also found him in front of the camera--and, incidentally, brought him into contact with the finest minds in contemporary Indian cinema.

Journey as Bollywood Maestro!!!

All the exposure gave Gowariker a desire to helm the camera . He has made five films. His first film was Pehla Nasha with Aamir khan which sank without a trace. Baazi (1995), enjoyed average success. It told the story of the nexus between politicians, gunrunners and terrorists and a righteous cop (Aamir Khan) who is hell-bent on breaking this ring.

Lagaan

He shot to fame with film Lagaan This was not only the top money grosser but also bagged all the awards and was also nominated as best foreign film at the academy awards. The film veered away from most norms used in the making of a commercial Hindi film-it was a period drama set in rural India; its language was a dialect; a British cast was included; it is a musical and, above all, it was a film about sports. The film was nominated for an Oscar for Best Foreign-language Film and earned worldwide raves for its direction. In the meantime, Gowariker directed a series of five commercials for Coca-Cola. These too became hits and won accolades at every advertising function in India.

Swades

He basked in the glory of his third film, Swades (2004), which, although not as great a hit as Lagaan (2001), is being praised by critics.

His last released film is Jodha-Akbar (2006), which made waves all over. Though a little too long, the movie had bagged all the awards and applauded everywhere.

What’s Your Rashee?

Ashutosh is busy with his next romantic comedy film these days titled What’s Your Rashee? starring Priyanka Chopra and Harman Baweja in the lead.
