Hirani promotes bharat bandh

Hang on guys, Rajkumar Hirani is not turning to a politician but the filmmaker’s ad company Vanvas Films has recently made an ad titled ‘Bharat Bandh’- The first IPL ad of this season The ad campaign has been directed by ‘Quickgun Murugun’ director Shashank Ghosh and showcased the funny talks between the politicians across the country over who initiated the Bharat Bandh for 51 days.

Canvas Films head ad division Sanjeev Kishinchandani said that the concept of the advertisment is that there is confusion between politicians across the country that who has announced the 51 days Bharat Bandh and every one rubbished the buzz when they finally realized that Bharat will be closed for 51 days automatically due to IPL, that’s the fever of IPL in India. The filmmaker has decided to rope in Aamir Khan in his upcoming project. Aamir had worked with the director earlier in 3 Idiots, which was declared as the successful hit of the year.

Arshad Warsi seems to be in full swing as the funny character, ‘Circuit’, in Rajkumar Hirani’s Munnabhai series made the actor a household name, but Arshad Warsi is tired of doing comedy and is scouting for serious roles now. Some interesting facts about the filmmaker states that after FTII Rajkumar Hirani tried his luck as film editor for many years. He was also seen in a Fevicol advertisement where some men and elephants are trying to pull and break a fevicol plank saying "Jor laga ke Haisha".

He was seen doing good in advertisement business but the director wanted to make films so he took break from advertisement and started working with Vidhu Vinod Chopra. Rajkumar Hirani had also worked on promos and trailers for 1942: A Love Story. He edited promo's for Kareeb as well. He then got big break as film editor with Mission Kashmir.
