Vikram feels scared too

Vikram Bhatt who has succeeded in scaring people with his successful films like Raaz, 1920, Shaapit and now Haunted 3D is one of the rare names in Bollywood who has made movies on keeping the genre horror. The filmmaker had also mentioned that he doesn’t want to stop and just desires to move on. Inspite of the known fact that the sort doesn't do as well in country like India, Vikram Bhatt has managed well to work his way around people's outlook. Vikram Bhatt stated that horror is a good subject because it's about adult substance, so that automatically cuts off kids.

Vikram Bhatt
And next, everyone doesn't want to buy the ticket to get scared. However, terror always has a trustworthy audience. And we have seen that all Vikram’s horror movies have done well so far. "Raaz" has done the most excellent business and there's "1920", which did well too. In India, if horror is not trapped in relationships, and stories of people, it'll not work at any cost. But the reason horror works is all because of superstition is blended in every individuals heart and soul, and so everyone enjoys it. The director also feels that it's the perfect genre after comedy. But there's nothing easy about making horror films.

Vikram further said that titles doesn’t assure a hit anymore. Last year has been a year of big flops. So, the content everytime has to be strong enough to carry on. Vikram’s subjects come from the sphere of the mysterious, and he had once even mentioned that he lives with ghosts. When asked him to explain this statement he said that he’s directly connected with spirits as they surround him. What the director is scared of is people as he claims that one doesn't know what people are going to be. Haunted3D his next horror genre flick features Mahakshay Chakroborty and Tia Bajpai in lead roles. So, if you are ready to get scared, don’t miss the film!!

And this move of the superstar has come as a shock stage to all those who have seen Sanjay Dutt’s and Mahesh’s cordial relationship. Filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt mentioned that Vivek Oberoi has met up with Mukesh Bhatt and Kunal.

Mahesh Bhatt
He has been narrated the whole story. However, till then, it will be not okay to assert that Vivek is on-board. In the world of business, there is much between the two parties. This has happened as Sanjay Dutt didn’t work out. But yes, Vivek had expressed his keen interest to be a part of the film and we would be happy to have him on-board as soon as possible. Game-an original flick

Bollywood filmmaker Abhinay Deo is well-known to the world of film making. Having fourteen years of experience when it comes to advertising, directing movies, the filmmaker who have recently directed Abhishek Bachchan starrer Game is a original piece. Abhinay Deo was planning to calculate the result for his first ever big flick. In a discussion Abhinay Deo discussed about how he started working on the film.

Abhinay Deo
A pure action thriller with a suspense drama has perfect ingredients that make a delicious and original recipe. The filmmaker wanted that the suspense genre should again revive in Bollywood film industry as he got inspiration from the 1960's when such kind of movies were in demand both in Bollywood and Hollywood too. In fact there have been numerous murder mysteries that have took birth from Bollywood. Abhinay wanted to bring it back with a different flavour. If we talk about action, "Game" doesn't have it throughout but action has been shot only where needed. There are the actors and performances which highlight the final verdict. Game is a typical original project. With a fine approach, the film has made to keep audience on the edge of their chairs. Another fact that can make the audience woo is debutant Sarah Jane Dias. Looks like the actress has worked hard on the project.

The filmmaker said that the actress is mature enough to understand what is needed for a character to play. Sarah Jane Dias understands that essence for sure. The team of 'Game' have shoot in five different countries and from one they have moved to another depending upon the climate conditions. The team faced cold winter waves, bitter summers, snow as well as rainy season too. Although with such a big film casting the makers of Game also had to keep every date of schedule in mind. Abhinay Deo told that the team started filming on the project in last January and ended the shoot by July which would have given a clear assumption that the movie was released quiet late. But then lot of hard work was put on in the post production and mainly lot of time was spent on the editing. In the starting it was planned that Game would be released in January 2011 with the India-Pakistan World Cup, the film was released a bit late.

Hirani’s wife in trouble

Many might not know that Bollywood filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani’s wife Manjeet Hirani works as a pilot for Air India, and it was really shocking to hear the news that during investigation on the fake pilot scandal Manjeet Hirani doesn’t know how to fly an airplane. According to the latest buzz, it has come in notice that some pilots have named Manjeet Hirani as a non-compliant of being a experienced licensed air plane pilot.

Rajkumar Hirani
According to the reports approximately twelve pilots had written a letter to Authority of Air India requesting to discontinue Manjeet lamba Hiran’s services due to unprincipled behavior and lack of flying intelligence. Even the India premiere crime branch team is snooping matters as to who all are there involved in the scam which is putting the life of hundreds of people flying in an airplane at risk.
The story of Munnabhai, the lovable dude who pulled an exam racket to get into a medical college, has actually knocked at the doorstep of director Rajkumar Hirani who has also directed superhit film 3 Idiots. Air India pilot and his wife Manjeet Hiranis has been accused of failing a test to refurbish her flying license and then going on to clear the exam in a second attempt by changing the norms. The suspected incident came to the limelight during internal investigations by Air India to verify the qualifications of pilots after a fake licence scandal rocked the civil aviation industry worldwide.

The director after making 3 Idiots with ace actor Aamir Khan, is again roping the actor for his next project for which Aamir have already given his nod. Rajkumar Hirani has been busy with the third movie in Munnabhai series “Munnabhai Chale Amerika” is in process and a fresh script is being written because the storyline of Munnabhai 3 was same like what we saw in My Name is Khan. Though Aamir Khan is tarnished for not repeating his directors, and that is why now it will be interesting to see Aamir and the filmmaker working together again.

Sudhir gets annoyed

The renowned Bollywood director Sudhir Mishra's latest movie, Yeh Saali Zindagi, irk his stamp of quality cinema and was patronize by the select multiplex horde intellectual audience. Naturally the director of award winning movies like Chameli, Is Raat Ki Subah Nahin,Hazaron Khwaishein Aisi is on cloud nine these days and when the filmmaker was to talk about the latest expansion of vulgarity in the Indian film fraternity, Sudhir Mishra had a very simple answer to the problem which he has gone through, especially by the family and cream audience.

Sudhir Mishra
Sudhir Mishra mentioned that it's up to the audience that they should recoil from vulgar movies. Abhi-Aish in Rajkumar Santoshi’s next

The latest news is that filmmaker Rajkumar Santoshi’s chief assistant director Anand Srivastav, will soon be wearing the director’s cap. The film will be produced by Vipin Anand’s Flagship India. The movie is a comedy and will be shot in Mumbai and a village in Bhopal.

Abhishek Bachchan with Aishwarya Rai
Anand Srivastav said that this is his first film and he is very excited about it. The script is almost ready and he will be starting shoot on the project as early as possible. However, Anand Srivastatv did not revealed the cast of the movie. He said that he’s already approaching stars and things will be finalised within ten days as assumed. He also said that will also be assisting Rajkumar Santoshi on the upcoming movies ‘Power’ and ‘Ladies and Gentleman’. Anand further added that he can't reveal much about the movie. Whereas, Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai will soon seen as on-screen couple in Rajkumar Santoshi’s romantic comedy,“Ladies and Gentlemen”, which will go on floors in July as speculated.
Aishwarya met Rajkumar Santoshi a week ago and he told her that before she start giving her dates to other producers, the filmmaker first wanted to finalise the deal with the couple as Abhishek and Aishwarya are his dream pair since a long time. The actress have liked this script. Ladies and Gentlemen will be the star couple’s ninth movie together. Their last film together was Mani Ratnam’s Raavan, which bombed at the box office. And since their marriage, the couple has been suspicious of over- exposing brand Bachchan, maintaining that they’d work together only when a movie would offer them something new and challenging.
Earlier, Aishwarya had opted out of Dostana, Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey and Game. More recently, she had also refused a Vipul Shah film opposite her husband, suggesting he cast Katrina Kaif instead. In the year 2008, she had Jodhaa Akbar and Sarkar Raj. In 2009, Aishwarya was fitting in between the Hollywood flick, The Pink Panther 2, Raavan and the Tamil film, Raavanan. Last year there was Robot opposite Rajinikanth, Action Replayy with Akshay Kumar and Guzaarish with Hrithik Roshan. Let’s see whether the couple fit in well in Rajkumar Santoshi’s upcoming venture or not!!

Sudhir’s final words

For a long long time in Bollywood the limitation for the success of a movie was Platinum, Golden or even Silver jubilee. Later on, it became 100 days and finally 50-day too was maintained as a essential success globally. But then it changed considerably and all tagged down to a huge staring weekend and a reasonably good second weekend.

Sudhir Mishra
To understand the observable fact and the shift from the now superfluous erosion theory lets read on the views of the famous Bollywood filmmaker Sudhir Mishra. And regarding the matter he said that earlier there used to be a limited number of prints. But now-a-days due to piracy hazard makers go in for a huge number of prints. It is for this reason that movies do not get to a jubilee mark. He further added by asserting that taking the case of his own movie Yeh Saali Zindagi which was released it with 532 prints! Well, nothing more couldn't be agreed now and the day is not far when just the first weekend itself will decide the destiny of a film!
The most renowned filmmaker and scriptwriter of Bollywood movies like Chameli, Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi and Dharavi, Sudhir Mishra hails from the city of Nawabs Lucknow. He moved to Mumbai in 1980, and started his career as assistant director and scriptwriter in Kundan Shah's comedy classic titled Jaane Bhi Do Yaaron which was released in 1983 and later on Sudhir worked with Saeed Akhtar Mirza in Mohan Joshi Hazir Ho! Released in 1984 and with Vidhu Vinod Chopra in 1985 titled movie Khamosh. Sudhir Mishra made his directorial debut with “Yeh Woh Manzil To Nahin” which hitted the silver screens in 1987 which won the National Film Award for Best First Film of a Director. He also made acclaimed flicks like Main Zinda Hoon released in 1988), and 1996 Is Raat Ki Subah Nahin amongst others.

David Dhawan

At present Bollywood filmmaker David Dhawan is working with actor Sanjay Dutt and Ajay Devgn in Rascals. This is yet another example of David working with Sanjay with whom he has worked in several movies before. On the other than Govinda with whom David Dhawan has shared his most successful partnership till date as well as Salman Khan, Rishi Kapoor, Anil Kapoor and Amitabh Bachchan.

David Dhawan
David Dhawan said that if he approach an actor and the star says that he doesn't have dates to to the film, the filmmaker tell the actor that's wonderful, all the best and thank you so much, please go ahead. The director don't cheat over it rather he just allow someone else to walk in. David Dhawan would next be making Chashme Baddoor. Though there has been no official announcement regarding the cast yet, there have been thousands of speculations making news in the Bollywood film industry. When asked to give a tip-off around the actors he is been appraoching, David Dhawan said that he doesn't like speculating as he have never done that in his entire life.

However, no one is finalised yet. Let's see who comes in. The director personally believe that Bollywood is one small and nice fraternity and one should work with one and all. He doesn't belong to any camp. The director have built relationships over the years but have never forced them to work in his films. In this regard, he is very much following the footsteps of his 'guru' Manmohan Desai who too believed in the power of relationships even as his best partnership was with veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan. David Dhawan felt downhearted stating that Manmohan Desai was his guru, he is his guru even today and he will stay on to be the same forever. Do you know that Manmohan Desai was the one who had actually signed David Dhawan on for Deewana Mastana

The reloaded Sippy

When you are known by the surname Sippy and that Ramesh Sippy's and GP Sippy have made hit films like Seeta Aur Geeta, Shaan, Shakti and Sholay, your career can’t swing in air. Rohan Sippy knew there was nothing else he wanted to do. He have never felt ardently about anything besides filmmaking.

Rohan Sippy
After spending some years learning the gimmicks, Rohan Sippy directed his first feature ‘Kuch Naa Kaho’ in the year 2003. He followed it up with Abhishek Bachchan starrer ‘Bluffmaster’ in 2005. On April 22 the director will witness the release of his upcoming film “Dum Maaro Dum”. So, here’s a question that what was Rohan Sippy doing over the last five years. To this the ace filmmaker answered that he produced a couple of movies like Taxi 9211, The President Is Coming, Chandni Chowk to China, etc. There was no real reason for taking so long time to make a come back, except that everything had to fall at right palce.

When writers Shridhar Raghavan recoiled the idea for the thriller that became “Dum Maaro Dum”, it automatically felt right. Rohan Sippy is excited because he has followed a multifarious description composition with this film. He said that this was one reason, also things were difficult because they were working with an ensemble cast; for the kind of approach they have taken to the shoot, all the unseen effects and postproduction, it needed more time in thinking and executing things. Set in Goa, the movie is based on three stories meeting at a point in the first half, and then moving ahead.

The first story is about Prateik Babbar, a student, who gets attracted into doing things he would not normally do. Abhishek Bachchan is a cop responsible for cleaning up the scene and taking on those behind it. The third is a musician, portrayed by Rana Daggubati. Whereas, Bipasha Basu is another main character. All these characters have some sins in their past that they have to pay for. That emotion plays out through the flick. While there are reports of ‘Seeta Aur Geeta’ being remade, would Rohan Sippy consider remaking any of his father's movies? While, the filmmaker openly refused the offer saying that he doesn't think he have a way of making them better.

Abhishek Bachchan stated that as a director, Rohan is not the Rohan who directed the earlier two films Bluffmaster and Kuch Naa Kaho. If the actor have to generalise, then it is just confidence that made him so much so successful. Abhishek also added that Rohan Sippy is at the top of his game. So the star saw a huge difference, in him and also that Rohan’s moustache had become slightly shorter and his glasses had become smaller. We hope that Dum Maaro Dum turns out to be a great success.

Sajid KhanAkshay Kumar is already shooting for Sajid in 'Housefull 2' directed by Sajid Khan, then Salman Khan will be seen doing Shirish Kunder's film. Also writer Chetan Bhagat’s latest novel ‘2 States’ is being made into a movie, and as reported the movie will have Shahrukh Khan in the male lead and Vishal Bhardwaj will be the head of the ship, now the news is not fake that it will be produced under Nadiadwala Grand Sons Banner. Sajid told that he cannot disclose the details on SRK and Hrithik's project at present. The team is actively working on them. News is also revolving that famous love story of 'Heer Ranjha' will be brought to the silver screen and Sajid Nadiadwala will be producing it. Directors and producers are running on their toes to find a very different and catchy title track for their film, director Sajid Khan has reportedly discharged the song from ‘Housefull 2’.

Similar like Heyy Babyy whose title track topped the charts, ‘Housefull’ did not have any such title track. Keeping that in mind, ‘Housefull 2′ will not have any title track too. Housefull 2 cast includes Akshay Kumar, the cute guy Riteish Deshmukh, the real hunk John Abraham, Southern siren Asin, Dhanno Jacqueline Fernandez and Randhir and Rishi Kapoor. Rumours moving around the tinsel town disclose that the latest to join this cast is none other than the Megastar Amitabh Bachchan himself. We hope that this time Sajid Khan’s Housefull2 becomes a housefull.
